Delivery Information

PLEASE NOTE: Garden tractors, Lawnmowers and other large or heavy items are collection only from our Axminster, Devon showroom. 

We will however, be happy to make sure the items are securely packaged if you wish to arrange your own courier.

Please note that will do our very best to ship your order to you as quickly as possible. If you would like a next day delivery service, please contact us: 01297 631314.   If your shipping address falls outside our routine delivery criteria, (i.e.,  Scotland, Ireland, IOW, IOM or Channel Islands)  please contact us for information regarding delivery costs. We endeavour to dispatch, to mainland UK addresses within 2 to 3 working days.    

Orders placed after 5pm on Fridays will not be processed until the next working day (Monday, unless there is a bank holiday).

Once your order has been dispatched we will send you an email informing you of dispatch. Should you require tracking information, please contact us.

Orders for petrol products will undergo a pre-delivery inspection to ensure that they are in full working order before shipping. 

All deliveries are sent out Monday to Friday and couriers used will depend on package size. Currently we’re using various couriers and Royal Mail

Our couriers will provide Saturday delivery, which we can organise for you at an additional charge. For more information and to receive a quote for this service, just email  sales@robperrygardenmachinery.co.uk. Please note that although all efforts are made to ensure this service is successfully completed we do not have access to contact any of our couriers on a Saturday.


Returns Information

If you wish to return any items please either phone 01297 631 314 or use our contact form to send an email.

As a consumer buying online or by phone, you have the right to cancel your purchase at any time up to 7 working days after the day on which you receive your goods. All returns are at the customers expense. You must inform us by email or telephone of any return. Once the returnable goods are received by us, we will refund your payment within 3 days.  Any goods being returned are the responsibility of the sender and precautions must be taken to safeguard the returned goods: i.e., proof of postage of the items.

Delivery costs will not be refunded if the returned goods are deemed to be damaged or destroyed or are in an unsalable condition. You must take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession. Any goods returned to us, which are soiled, damaged or used, will not be refunded. Any Parts which packages have been opened - are non refundable.


Faulty Goods

Before any petrol machine leaves our premises we remove it from the box and get it up and running. 

We ask that, if possible, you check your goods when you receive them from the courier and mark on the delivery note if there is any damage. If you don’t have time to check, write ‘order not checked’. Let us know if your goods have been damaged in transit as soon as possible either by calling 01297 631 314 or by email: sales@robperrygardenmachinery.co.uk.

 

Warranty / Guarantees

All NEW  products purchased from Rob Perry Garden Machinery Ltd come with a full manufacturer's warranty, the length of which will be stated in the product description on our website. Specific manufacturer’s requirements highlighting exclusions to warranty coverage will be stated within the owner’s handbook.

Individual Manufacturers offer varying warranty periods. These warranty periods will be the responsibility of the manufacture of each individual item purchased.

Please ensure you keep your original proof of purchase or a copy of it in a safe place. It might be necessary to produce this in the case of any claim against warranty. 

Items returned to Rob Perry Garden Machinery Ltd for repair will be worked on by industry trained and qualified members of staff. If we find that a piece of machinery returned to us is faulty due to user error or inappropriate treatment and does not qualify as a claim against warranty, we will contact you to discuss the best way forward and any costs you are responsible for.
